Welcome to Nixon Communications, Rockhampton Branch

Nixon Communications Rockhampton has been proudly servicing the Rockhampton and Central Queensland district for over 20 years.

2009 has seen our shop premises, located at 60 Glenmore Road, North Rockhampton, undergo an extensive building and grounds upgrade to improve our quality services to our clients.

In recent years, due to the success and high demand for our expertise and experience in the Bowen Basin Mining Region; we have expanded to incorporate two sub-branches, with technicians now permanently based in both Blackwater and Emerald.

Our friendly team comprises 15 staff members and we pride ourselves on our ability to go above and beyond, to ensure that our customers and clients receive the most competitive and comprehensive solutions to their communication needs.

Our Administrative Team consists of Sally Lauga (Sales & Purchasing), Brenda Owens (Accounts), Kirsty Collins (Service Coordinator) and Laura Young (Reception/Repairs) and all administrative staff have an extensive knowledge of the products / procedures that we promote and sell at Nixon Communications Rockhampton.

Grant Tucker (Branch Manager of Rockhampton) has been with Nixon Communications for nearly 15 years and can offer extensive knowledge and experience of the local region and communications infrastructures.

Dave Young is our Projects Manager in the Rockhampton office and handles the majority of our large projects and upcoming developments. Dave joins Nixons with around 20 years experience in the Radio Communications field.

Our other technicians include Allan Long as our Senior Bench Technician (35 years experience) and Steven Wood as our Senior Technician located in Blackwater who has been a qualified Radio Technician since 1994. Dave McArthur our field technician (over 40 years experience), and Simon Plant is our newest team member who specializes in IT communications and is based in Blackwater.

We also have 3 fully trained and experienced radio installers who handle a variety of equipment installations and can offer solutions to meet your communication needs.
