Welcome to Nixon Communications Head Office, Gladstone Branch
Nixon Communications was established by John Nixon in Gladstone in 1977 as a one man business and its Head Office is still here, at 2/38 Lord Street. Today John Nixon remains Managing Director of the Nixon Group of companies.
In the last 32 years, Company growth has been steady and now includes more than 60 staff working on projects throughout Australia, New Guinea and the Solomons. Most growth has been in the Central Queensland mining district, with the Rockhampton Branch opening in 1989, Mackay in 2000, and Rockhampton satellite operations purchased in Blackwater in 2004 and in Emerald in 2009.
The Administration team in Gladstone is headed by Justine Blankenhagen who is Gladstone Office Manager and also responsible for the accounts for the Nixon Group of companies.
